Michael Scott's new book, The Magician, the sequel to The Alchemyst, is is the shops now.

The Alchemyst is now available in Spanish, Catalan, German, Dutch, Japanese, Finnish, Vietnamese, Estonian, Romanian, Czech, Slovakian and 22 more languages to come; covers will be posted when we have them.

The Magician is published in America and England. It is also available in Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Ireland.

Hello, and welcome to my web site.

I started writing in 1982 and published my first book, Irish Folk & Fairy Tales in 1983. Two further collections followed and now, more than twenty-five years later, they are still in print. On these pages, you will find links to most of my publications, plus the foreign editions and examples of some unused book covers. I will get around to writing notes and comments on every title, but do bear with me - I am in the middle of writing book 3 of The Nicholas Flamel series: The Sorceress, and that's taking all my time.

The first book in the series, The Alchemyst: The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel has now sold into 33 countries and movie rights to the entire series have been optioned by New Line Cinema. Check out The Alchemyst page for more details. The Magician was published in May in England and June in the United States. The Sorceress will appear in June 2009.

There is a FAQ which should answer most questions, but if you have anything specific you would like to ask, then do use the Email link. It is in the form of a graphic to prevent it being harvested, so just type it into your mailer. I will respond to every email, but please have a little patience.
